Asttecs plans to conduct partner meets, road shows

Asttecs, a leader in manufacturing of telecommunication equipments, has planned to conduct partner meets across the country. The move aims to expand the company’s business and support to its customers.

In an interaction with ‘The DQ Week‘, Levis Wilson, COO, Asttecs, said “Asttechs is focused on expanding its current business only with the support of channels. We also depend on our partners to provide local support to our customers. We encourage them to earn via sales as well as providing support. We have plans to establish 3-5 partners in each city and focus on them.”

“We are living in a world of convergence. We have a set of channels coming from the world of voice trying to enter the IP world. Similarly, we have another set of partners, who were in the networking domain so far, and have now recognized the potential of voice solutions. A very few come from the mobile world,” Wilson added.

Speaking about the partner-development activities, he said , “Specific training programs for sales as well as technical manpower are regularly conducted in our head quarters in Bangalore. These programs educate our partners to sell as well as support our products.”

Wislon also elaborated on the company’s plans to conduct more partner meets and road shows in the coming times. “After the NTP (national telecom policy) has been made recently and VoIP (Voice over IP) has been approved, we are planning to conduct partner meets across the country and planning to bring experts. Those meets would start from Bengaluru and will take place in Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi and Delhi,” he said.

Talking about the products, the COO said, “Our products are always different from our competitors in terms of commissioning modules. We start with 20 -30 % commission where most of our competitors end up in 20 %.”
