Technocrats Association of Computer Technology and IndiaEatsTheBest.com organized one day seminar on Asterisk IP-Telephony Systems on Saturday 07-Sep-2013 at Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur.

The Seminar was organized in association with *astTECS, Bangalore, V.S. Informatics Private limited and CPLAP Tradelinks Pvt Ltd. Nagpur. It witnessed the Presence of Guest Lecturer, Sandeep R. Sonaskar and Parag L. Hirulkar along with H.O.D. of Computer Technology Prof. A.S. Sambhare. Sandeep R. Sonaskar is the alumni of P.I.E.T. & currently Director at V.S. Informatics and Parag Hirulkar is currently working with CPLAP as Managing Director in Nagpur. Both the companies are ISO 9001:2008 certified & the partner of *astTECS Bangalore which is multinational company on IP-telephony products and services as well as VSI and CPLAP are the IP-telephony product based companies & the only training provider on this technology in Maharashtra region.

The Asterisk Telephony System is the very big emerging market in India and very well known Globally. It promises to provide huge scope for the upcoming engineers. There was a question answer round at the end of the session, wherein challenging questions and queries were put through for the discussion. All the students and faculty found this technical seminar to be new, innovative and encouraging as they got to know about the Asterisk technology.
